Our Qadiria Bouchichia Sufi retreat is coming up in a few weeks, May 17-20, at the Claymont center in West Virginia (http://www.claymont.org). We hope you will be able to come.

Last year more than 70 people attended, and everyone worked together to make it a very special time. This is a great opportunity to share in the prayers and the practices from our sheikh Sidi Hamza. The retreat is also open to anyone wanting to learn more about our tariqa and the Sufi path; this is an opportunity to reach out and share with others. A full program of dikr, samaa (singing), and learning is being planned. If you have any requests for the retreat program, or for any aspect of the retreat, please reply to: (insert email here).

The retreat is located in a beautiful private and rural setting one hour from the Washington DC area.

. For those of you needing to make transportation arrangements, now is a very good time to purchase airline tickets.

We will pick up arrivals at Washington/Dulles airport (IAD) on Thursday at 12PM, 4PM and 8PM. Return transportation to Washington/Dulles will be provided on Sunday at 6AM, 8AM and 10AM. If you choose to fly into Baltimore or Washington/Regan, please make your own travel arrangements to the retreat.

We expect the costs to be much the same as last year, around $200 per adult for the three days (lower for children). This includes all lodging, meals, and any printed materials, for the entire retreat. As with last year, the costs will be covered by donations of whatever you are able to give, with no one turned away for lack of funds. We do ask that you register once you decide to come so that we can buy the right amount of food for the weekend and plan out room assignments.
